
About me
Douglas Saddy is Professor of Language Sciences, Director of the MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience program and founding Director of the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN) at the University of Reading. He has a long history of promoting multidisciplinary research and has been instrumental in establishing two of the four key Institutes at the University of Reading: the Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism and the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics.

Prof. Saddy’s research agenda includes behavioural and neurocognitive investigations into typical and atypical language processing, mathematical and computational modelling of language and cognitive processes, and he has pioneered the application of Lindenmayer grammars as proxies for linguistic and cognitive processes.
